3 Great New Blogging Tools (2015)
At the start of 2015, I shared some of my top internet marketing & social media tools for 2015. Over the past few months, I've stumbled across several new (at least, new to ME) tools that are helping me in my blogging efforts. If you're a business blogger, trying to find new customers via your blog, check out these excellent tools.
Squirrly SEO
Much more than just a plugin for WordPress: Squirrly SEO offers a variety of services, ranging from a plugin to help you write articles with optimization in mind, to weekly site-audits and even writing fully optimized articles for your niche. For FREE, you'll get the wordpress plugin which allows you to optimize 5 articles per month, and give you limited keyword research abilities. For $19.99 per month, you receive weekly audits of your site, complete with suggestions and ‘how-to' tips on improving your site's performance.
Co-Schedule Management Tool
Co-Schedule Calendar for your blog
I recently wrote a more in-depth article about this great scheduling tool, and the more I use it, the more I love it. For serious blogging, this tools allows you to link to your social media profiles. For $15 per month, you get to link to 5 profiles (ex: your facebook profile AND page, your linkedin profile, a twitter profile and your G+ page). $30 per month gets you 10 profiles, and goggle analytics, Google Docs and Evernote integration. One really cool feature is that you can click on ‘Old Blog Post' and share something you're written in the past, right from the scheduler. Check out the Co-Schedule Tool.
Curation Suite
I love this blogging curation tool. Right inside your wordpress admin area, below your posts, you can enter a keyword and it will generate previews of related articles, complete with their pictures and summaries. You can then add those to the end of your article, adding more optimized words and content to your article. Curation Suite is a one-time price of $147, with add-ons available such as the Listening Engine.
