This is Bo Kauffmann of Remax performance realty your residential real estate specialist in Winnipeg. I love helping condo buyers and sellers as well as house buyers and sellers. But I’m also striving to be more than just a real estate agent. I want to be able to make referrals to you if you’re a homeowner and if you’re looking for quality service providers in Winnipeg.
So yesterday I was reading an article in The Huffington Post that says that they’re expecting a lot of people to do upgrades on their homes this year. So if you’re a homeowner that wants to do some renovations some upgrades some replay some repairs. What do you do? Do you check on Google? There’s a lot of people out there that have of course good reviews on Google but are they real?
Do you know if you can trust them. Over the last 10 years or so I’ve surrounded myself with with great service providers and here’s just a few of them. If you’re a homeowner and you’re looking to do a kitchen and bathroom renovations for example I’ve got some really good people for you.
Electrician: You have like a 60 amp panel you want upgraded to 100. Or do you have a knob and tube wiring in your house or do you want to just wire the basement. I’ve got a great electrician for a property a home and business and auto insurance.
I’ve got a great contact the furnace and A/C. We’re now getting into the season where it’s no longer the heating season. So you might be able to get a deal on a furnace and definitely it’s time to get, another month or so it’s going to be time to check on your A/C system.
Home inspections: If you’re a buyer of course you want to get a home inspector into the house and make that part of your offer. But also if you’re a home seller and you feel you’ve got a really solid house there’s nothing wrong with it and you want to show it to potential buyers have a home inspector go through it and give you a clean bill of health.
Plumber: Any plumbing issues moving and storage.
I get a great trustworthy mover and this is an industry where a referral is really important because there’s a lot of fly by nighters out there. The fly by night operations that you know that will take you for a ride. I had a friend recently used one of these companies and they’re well known they’re a well known name. They sent a couple of small small guys but they are supposed to have really really great care for their customers. Well this friend of mine had money missing from the wallet that the bill ended up being much higher than advertised. And they broke some stuff on our saw. Call me if you’re looking for a reputable mover.
Windows and Doors whether you want to replace the whole window or just the glass. I got great people there.
Mortgage lenders call me five or six months before your mortgage expires. I may be able to get you a deal. And you know renew your mortgage at a at an optimal rate.
Landscaping and stone patios and also mould removal do you feel you have mould in the basement or in the attic.
I’ve got a great mould removal company. I like to work by referral. Over 80 percent of my business comes by referral. I’ve gotten to the point where I no longer advertise on bus benches that kind of stuff. It’s my business just comes from past clients friends and relatives and that’s how I prefer to work. And in the same way I like to give back to some of these people recommend some good service providers for my clients but it doesn’t stop with just home related services so take a look at this.
I’ve got a great contact with life and disability insurance nutritionist.
If you are feeling down low on energy, I’ve got a great nutritionist.
Investments like RRSP’s or otherwise.
Wedding planning have got great contact in that industry.
Chiropractors and massage therapy
Beauty Salon Salon that I recommend does everything from hair cuts to shaves to manicures pedicures even waxing travel agent.
Got a great travel agent very personal service I have nothing but raves from anybody that I’ve recommended to her.
Fitness trainer: Comes right to your home or your office and help you work out so no more excuses.
A lawyer real estate wills and estates family law autobody repair been an accident. Give me a call. I’ll make a recommendation. This auto body shop is one of the best in the city. And not only that they’ll give you a if you use their service. They’ll give you a rental car for no charge.

You’ve got all the you know all the little extras that you that you expect lots of windows. It’s a great bright space.
