Winnipeg Real Estate agents have a new tool to help buyers find their perfect house or condo. So when buyers come to me, I sometimes have to give the bad news: Here are some of the major expenses involved when buying a home (or condo).

How to read your Keystone® Matrix® listings

Home buyers are well advised to work with their own agent when searching for a new home in Winnipeg. There are a ton of reasons to do so, and no advantage to ‘going it alone’. Among the top reasons for working with your own agent is the fact that you receive the new listings, as soon as they are posted, for example these luxury homes in Winnipeg. Once you get the listings, however, they tend to be full of abbreviations and confusing real estate terminology. So here is a 10-minute video tutorial about how to read and decipher those new MLS® listings which you are receiving.

Shifting and Cracking Foundations: Preventative Maintenance

Winnipeg home owners love their basement recrooms. But several problems, including flooding basements, cracking and shifting foundations are always a concern. Normally, our main concern is during wet weather, when sump pumps can become overwhelmed by the water, and tiny cracks in concrete basement walls allow water to seep into our prized man-caves and game rooms.
